IAVL currently operates four owned terminals located in Navghar, Raipur, Goa, and Paradip BOOT. Additionally, two major projects under construction are situated in Paradip: the COIT NRL Crude Storage Terminal and the IOCL Panipat finished products storage tank farm. IAVL also handles operations and maintenance (O&M) for several significant facilities, including IOCL's Vadodara White Oil Terminal, IOCL's JNPT Terminal, and the LPG facility for the South Oil Jetty at IOCL's Paradip refinery.
Nestled in Western Tamil Nadu, IAVL’s renewable energy subsidiary, IAV Biogas, is a testament to the company’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The IAV Biogas plant commenced operations in 2012 as a 2.4 MW power plant, supplying electricity to the Tamil Nadu Generation & Distribution Corporation. In 2020, it was upgraded to generate compressed biogas (CBG) with a capacity of 10 tons per day.

Atul Kharate is an industry professional with extensive two decades plus expertise in Oil & Gas, Supply chain, New & Green energy industries.
Atul holds an MBA in Oil & Gas management and is a qualified electrical engineer with post-graduate diplomas in environment management, supply chain management, and energy management. He has further enriched his knowledge by completing a senior leadership program in “Strategies for Growth” from IIM Ahmedabad.
Atul holds active memberships in prominent institutions such as CII, FICCI, FIPI, IFGE, IBA, and WBA. His active participation includes industry interfaces for the Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA) and the Energy Transition Forum under G20.
Atul has played a pivotal role in the strategic development of various projects including LPG bottling plants, import terminals, and auto LPG stations across the country. Presently, as the Business Head/Chief Operating Officer for the IndianOil Adani Ventures - Biogas unit, he spearheads strategic business development, compliance management, corporate relationship building, and enterprise risk management for new and renewable energy businesses in India. He contributes significantly to industry-academia collaborations, delivering lectures and participating in panel discussions at prestigious national-level institutions such as IIMs and IITs. Additionally, Atul is engaged as a research scholar i.e. PhD in Management.
Atul is on the board of subsidiary companies of IndianOil Adani Ventures Limited i.e. IAV Biogas, IAV Infrastructures Private Limited & IAV Urja Private Limited as Director. Atul is passionate about adding value to Indian Industry & economy through ethical business management, strategic growth planning, and creating futuristic & sustainable infrastructure for new and Green Energies in India.
